Christmas is much more than just an ordinary day; it is time to celebrate not just the birth of Christ but also salvation and family. It is a moment of feasting, peace, joy and merry-making. Unfortunately, not all elderly, weak and very poor Grandparents can afford a decent Christmas due to the extreme levels of poverty that they live in.
It is upon this background that we seek to partner with you to make this Christmas very special for 100 families on Bugala Island headed by the Poor, Old and Weak Grandparents shouldering the responsibility to take care of HIV/AIDS Orphaned grandchildren.
This will make them feel so special, loved and cared about. This also heals the bereavement and the pain of daily struggles that they face from dusk to dawn. It sounds like a one-time activity in a year yet its impact lives on beyond the calendar. A gesture and courtesy of love, care and compassion is an immortal force with no boundaries.
This one of the best ways to celebrate and share the love of Christ and also restore hope among these hopeless and poverty stricken vulnerable families.
